The Timinator

Hi Everybody,

Tim is getting better all the time now. He is always alert and all 'there' now. He's been reading the books I brought him last time. Up until last week, he wasn't interested at all in reading, which most of you know is not the 'usual' Tim. But he's reading now.

He is still in Kaiser. He says the doctors keep saying he'll go back to the Rehab. facility 'any day now.' He says he feels fine, just weak when he stands up. And yes, he is still standing up. He just needs to get his strength up.

Thank you for your comments! They are encouraging to him. Please keep them coming. A note about your comments. When you post an anonymous comment, please put your name somewhere in the end of the text so Tim can see who the comment is from.

Thank you,

Ken

Timmy, the Movie

Hi Everybody,

Tim is still in Kaiser hospital tonight. The nurse said that his numbers, blood count, etc. are getting better. She said that when he will move back to the Rehabilitation clinic will be decided over the next few days.

Tim said that he is getting very bored in the hospital. He said it is hard just laying in bed for so long. Please pray that the Lord will encourage him and motivate him to make that extra effort to push his recovery along.

Thank you all for your prayers and comments!

Timmy's Back

Hi Everybody,

Well, they moved Tim back to Kaiser last night. They said his blood count was low. I asked if they could be more specific than 'blood count'. The nurse said 'everything was low'.

Right now she said that he is stable and the doctor would make a decision later regarding when he's going back to New Orange Hills.

I talked with Tim on the phone just now. He said he was feeling ok, but his voice was hoarse. He is in room 624. You can call him at 714-279-4000 and ask for that room.

I visited him Sunday. He was having problems sitting up. At first, every time he sat up, he'd get weak. So by the time I got in to see him, they had him sitting up all the time. I guess trying to get him acclimated to it.

I asked him just now if maybe the low blood count was why he felt weak when sitting up. But his voice was so hoarse, I couldn't make out his reply.

Sunday he said that he'd not been into therapy/exercises for a few days because of that problem (weak when sitting up).

Talk to you later. CALL HIM!

Timarama

Hi Everybody,

When I saw Tim today, they were pushing him in a wheelchair. He said it was his entertainment for the morning. He said that the last few times he went into exercise/therapy, he felt very weak and sick afterwards. So he hasn't been to therapy in a few days. I don't know how many.

Otherwise, he seemed pretty good. He says his speech is much improved, and it sounds like it. He says he only misses a few words here and there.

He was more optimistic today and said that he'd definitely be going back to work at Foothill bank.

Talk to you later,

Ken

Timalacious

Hi Everybody,

When I visited Tim yesterday he was just getting over a flu or something like that. But he said that control of his right hand was almost at 100% and control over his right leg was almost there. He said that the main thing now is regaining strength overall after 2 months in bed, and confidence in his right leg and arm.

That's about it for now,

Ken

The Timinator

Hi Everybody,

Ok, it looks like they've moved Timothy back to New Orange Hills.
What a merry go-round!

His nurses' station number is 714-997-7090. He is in room 207A. I
think they can transfer you to his bedside phone from that number.

Thank you,

Ken
